The Detroit Tap Repertory is a tap ensemble based in metropolitan Detroit, consisting of teens and adults from southeastern Michigan, founded and directed by Denise Caston, a former Radio City Rockette. Denise teaches master classes and choreographs for many studios in Michigan, and is also available for private instruction. Upcoming performances include the Michigan 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk and the Detroit International Jazz Festival.
Denise also produces the annual Motor City Tap Fest, which features 4 days of classes with leading tap artists from coast to coast, a panel discussion, tap jam, participants’ showcase, and All-Star Faculty Concert. Details can be found at www.motorcitytapfest.com.
